Day 11: My Music
Put your music player on shuffle and write ten songs that come up:
I warn you now I've got a dodgy taste in music so fingers crossed no embarrassing tunes crop up. I also don't have much of a collection as I downloaded most of the music that's on my iPod from my friends' iTunes over many years.
1. Super Bass - Nicki Minaj
This didn't start out well. Although I can rap along to the whole of this song, but I'm not willing to upload a video of that!
2. Anything Could Happen - Ellie Goulding
I can't deny I like mainstream music.
3. Alive - Chase & Status
Great song for the gym! My boyfriend introduced it to me and it really stuck in my head. I've overplayed it a bit now but it's still a motivating tune!
4. If I Lose Myself - Alesso vs One Republic
I absolutely love this song. I've listened to it a few too many times.
5. What Do You Take Me For - Pixie Lott
I don't particularly adore this song, but I do have a love for Pixie. She's stunning, and comes across as a really cute and down to earth girl. And she has killer legs!
6. Halo - Beyonce
Who'd deny themselves a bit of Bey? This is probably my favourite of her songs, I think she sings it beautifully and the lyrics are so lovely.
7. Bonfire - Knife Party
I'm not totally sure why I still have this song as I rarely listen to it, if ever. If it comes on at the gym it pumps me up a bit and Knife Party are good and I do enjoy a bit of their music, I just really have to be in the mood for it!
8. Stay Out - Nina Nesbitt
Nina's my girl crush, one of many, but important to the list of crushes none the less. Her voice is lovely and she's so cute and seems like she'd be cool to hang out with. I enjoy this song but adore 'Selfies'.
9. City of Dreams - Alesso & Dirty South
I love listening to this song at the gym too (most of my music is for the gym as I rarely use my iPod any other time) and just really like whoever's singing in it. As you can tell I'm not a die hard fan of Alesso's music considering I have no idea who even sings this song...or who Alesso is....or who Dirty South is...but I love this song anyway!
10. Holding Onto Heaven - Foxes
Ahh Foxes, my new love. I adore Foxes and their music.
So there it is, my odd mixture of songs. Thankfully nothing too dodgy came up and hopefully you won't all be judging me too much right now!
What's your favourite song at the moment?

I love Foxes!!! <3 ... your music selection is not at all embarrassing... mine would be cringe worthy! Up until January I still had Disney songs on my iPhone!

Chase & Status really is a good pick for gym time - or any other adrenaline-fueled activity.
ReplyDeleteI've been listening to Goodfellas OST the whole week and also to two songs by Cherry Glazerr: "Grilled Cheese" and "Trick or Treat Dancefloor". I try not to overplay it as I'm too scared of getting sick and tired of what it sounds like.
Psychic Twin's "Strangers" has also been stuck in my head - so dreamy!
Very true, I only really listen to it at the gym or when I need some motivation for work, otherwise it'll just make me too hyper haha. Ooh I've never heard of these bands/singers, I'll have to check them out!
DeleteI always end up overplaying a song and then someone else puts it on and it just drives me mad haha!
absolutely love nina nesbitt!
ReplyDeleteShe's great isn't she!
DeleteI always appreciate and love reading comments from you lovely lot, so comment away and don't forget to leave your links too! ♥
